Welcome to The Stannington Players Website

Coronavirus Outbreak - Updated June 2021
Stannington Players have been closely monitoring government guidelines around large groups meeting indoors. We have also been in close contact with the Lomas Hall committee. The safety of our members and audiences are our main priority, and unfortunately at this time, there are too many restrictions still in place for us to perform until these have been lifted. As the Government Roadmap has changed, it is our intention to postpone yet again the performance of Allo Allo  to the week commencing April 3rd 2022. We intend to do our Panto/Christmas show in December as usual if we can commence rehearsals in time.

We apologise for this disruption, which as you can understand is somewhat out of our hands!

The Stannington Players  is a Amateur Dramatic society formed over 60 years ago to perform plays for the local community and the wider area of Sheffield, South Yorkshire UK.
The productions are performed at
The Lomas Hall in the district of Stannington, Sheffield three times a year.
A play in April and a Play in August and a Pantomime in December.
Rehearsals and meetings are suspended for now but normally take place ever Monday (except Bank holidays) at The Lomas Hall from
approximately 7:30 pm.
If you are interested in taking part or want to help and become a member, please visit us on a Monday evening to have a look around and have a chat.
